Featuring: JA Inspire Advanced

JA Inspire® Advanced is more than a career fair. It brings together the business community and local schools and is designed to help launch teens and young adults into their future - postsecondary education and their careers. The program consists of three segments: (1) pre-event career-oriented sessions; (2) the JA Inspire event, and (3) a post-event reflection. The JA Inspire event (in-person, virtual, or both) provides participants a powerful way to learn about real-world career opportunities and their local economy. Education Level: High School, Youth 18-25

Junior Achievement of Eastern Ohio is thrilled to bring back JA Inspire, formerly known as JA College, Career, and Trades Expo, to our region for the first time since the pandemic! JA Inspire is more than just a career fair. Juniors and seniors from high schools across Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties are invited to interact with about 100 exhibitor booths of local businesses and post-secondary programs, participating in hands-on activities that employ the use of equipment, tools, or skills used on the job. Students will also attend two educational seminars presented by local industry experts on How to Get and Keep a Job and Soft Skills for the Workplace.

Schools will arrive on a staggered schedule between 8:30 AM-1:30 PM. Lunch is not provided. Teachers will be given access to the JA Inspire curriculum to prepare students to make the most of the experience. JA Inspire provides students a powerful way to learn about real-world career opportunities and our local economy.
